EMERALD CITY COMICS
Welcome back folks. We're hitting the deadline timeframe of the month with lots of scripts due, for an unannounced project that our very own JIMMY PALMIOTTI is working on, along with our very own AMANDA CONNER pushing through deadlines for a list of cover projects that have been showing up on her desk. We will be happy to share some of the images and potential information on those projects if and when we are given the green light to share. For know just know, there is some amazing stuff coming in the future from the team, some in areas that you might be familar with, others are brand new adventures!
Often times on interviews and at panels during conventions we get asked, how and where do you do all your work? Well, for the creative side of things, both Amanda and Jimmy are working out of their home office rooms [they are much better off separated :) heh......], where they can setup and focus on their immediate work. For all of the comic projects, Kickstarters, exclusive sales, in house signings and events, we are thrilled to be in an unique spot where we can have our creative office be in the wonderful location of our favorite store, EMERALD CITY COMICS in Clearwater, FL.
If you have been to the store when in the area you know, this place is huge! As in, top stores in the US. The owner is amazing, the staff is wonderful, they do their best to make sure every customer is totally happy and has something for everyone. They have back issues, current comics, toys, games, novels, action figures, legos, models, statues, you name it, they seem to have it. Having a dedicated kids section, having back issues of all grades, we're like kids in candy shops.
Having an office in this location enables us to have our ears out for fans to know, what is selling, how do people like to see their books and products delivered, what things are people buying. We ship work on all our Kickstarters out of this location, we work with the staff here on signings and much more. They host other guests for signings and they are always top notch. We wouldn't be able to accomplish half of what we do with our fans if it wasn't for the staff and family at the EMERALD CITY COMICS store.
The also of course are huge fans and supporters of everything Paperfilms for Amanda and Jimmy. From displaying their artwork all over the store, hosting signing events with the team for new series or comics to tempting Jimmy with their huge backstock of old comics (Jimmy's catnip), we'll always be in debt to our family of the EMERALD CITY COMICS!
If you are in the Clearwater, FL area, we cannot stress, you need to get to this store! And hey, if you do get to the store, simply ask any staff member if Jimmy, Amanda or Patrick are in the Paperfilms office, we do work out of here on certain days, if we are here and you mention it, we'll come out to say thanks and talk to you. Yes, we know, if you're reading this and following us, we want to at least thank you for doing so. So worse case, you get an amazing adventure to a jaw dropping store. Bonus would be us being able to thank you for the support!
