Is that the right way to start off the email? Sure. When you're talking about the massive SDCC convention, it is combination of excitement, entertainment, exhaustion and hey, let's keep with the "e" theme and go with exhiliration to wrap up our thoughts on the con. We are typically going out prior to the con and staying after to visit with several partners, project clients and friends during the west coast trip. Since it is a great chance to meet and see those out there on the west coast, we try to be as efficient as possible. Doesn't stop us from having fun! You'll see a bunch of pictures below.
One of the great parts of the SDCC this year was with our Zestworld partnership, any backer who subscribed at the ELITE option, we organized a meet up and luncheon with those backers. We wanted time to sit and visit with those amazing folks who pledged at that level to have some fun, get to know them and hang around. Not only did they get some exclusive comics, our very own Amanda Conner decided to gift these individuals with some amazing original artwork. And as a bonus, those special backers got to watch her create the drawings just for them! How amazing is that? For every convention we are at, if you're an ELITE backer, we're doing fun things like that. So if you are not a backer at the ELITE level and will be attending a convention we're at in the future, now is the time to up your pledge. We have NYCC coming up and it is a great chance to run with this option! Here are some photos for backers Charles and Kevin that we can't thank them enough for joining us. Our pleasure just as much as they enjoyed!

Also, here are some more great random shots of the madness from the team during the con!
What would we do without our friends? We've got an amazing set of friends that work on projects too and one we love is our very dear friend of DAN PANOSIAN. Right now this beast of an artist has a great HC book up for funding and we are 100% backers and supporters of this project. We truly cannot recommend this book enough and encourage you to check this out! You can find out more about on the Zoop platform:

Since we completed the SDCC and know, a lot of people can't make those big conventions, we've been trying to do more to interact with our fans and create some fun and unique options to allow you to join in. With the WHATNOT app, we do some live Q&A sessions with fans while we are auctioning off anything from signed comics to exclusive remarque options. This week, we're doing a "VARIANT" cover auction. We'll take some questions, interact with the fans, tell some stories and allow you to snag some exclusive items!! Sign up for the auction here and you can learn how to setup your account and get all your payment information established prior to the event so you can jump right into the bidding.

And as a reminder, there is still time to back what is turning out to be an amazing support for the next Paperfilms Kickstarter, HOT & MESSY: THE ART OF AMANDA CONNER The campaign is just over a week old and it is showing some super support. Right now the sketched editions are sold out, however, we always recommend, keep watching since we have seen people drop out of their already backed tier and then those options open back up. The bonus now is that we're already past one stretch goal and more to possibly come. So by pledging at a basic level will give you more bang for your buck. Check it out at:

That's it for this week folks. Stay tuned for more next week!
