A bit of commentary for this one.

Chapter 1 was a beast to get through, production-wise. Early in the project I sent some water color character sketches to Joey back when we were trying to figure out the look of the book. Joey got really excited (a very rare occasion*) and said we should do all the chapters with hand colored illustrations.

I was very young in my career at the time and I did not disagree. This added several months to the process. By Chapter 2 we decided to bring in Jonathan Moore to help with color and I was able to focus on line art and watercolor grey tones so the look of the book stayed fairly consistant. This is when I started having fun on the book!

Baltimore Comic Con was this past weekend, where I might have met you (the pleasure was mine). The show, as always, was a blast!

Thanks to Marc, Randy, and Brad for putting on one of the best comic shows in existence. And special thanks to Dean Haspiel for inviting me to be a part of his crew this year.

Dean was kind enough to do a cover for a special preview edition of THE PEDESTRIAN. We only printed 100 copies and we very nearly sold out! If you missed the show or want to get your hands on one, we are going to to get Dean to sign a few more and get these up on a webshop soon.

Today also marks the release of my very first Star Trek cover!

If you’re heading to the comic shop today be sure to pick up a copy of Star Trek Picard: Stargazer #1. I did the Diamond B variant with colors by Josh Jensen It might be harder to find, so make sure to get the shop before my Mom does.  

I’ve been a Trek fan for as long as I can remember and it is a huge thrill to contribute something to the franchise. Thank you to Heather Antos and Vannessa Real at IDW for the opportunity. (More Trek stuff coming soon!)
