DC Comics' August Solicits are out! I'm so happy to share my DC Comics debut with a variant cover for Vita Ayala and Nikolas Draper-Ivey's STATIC: SHADOWS OF DAKOTA #6!

Last October I was in a 'high' between all the lows of this job, and I put it out into the world that I'd get a Marvel/DC credit within the next 2 years. I hope editors don't get used to me being this early, because I'd really like to do this again!

I can't help but feel 'it's just a variant cover' after all of the love my teases were shown over the last few days (THANK YOU), so I hope y'all weren't disappointed, but this means everything to me. So yeah. It's Milestone time (hah!) and it's going to be everyone's problem.

Saudade

A collection of fictional short stories that evoke Saudade: a feeling of longing for things absent from the concrete to the mysterious.

This Portuguese word doesn't translate easily to other languages; it has deep cultural roots and meaning among the Portuguese people.

The closest definition in English is: A feeling of longing, melancholy, or nostalgia.

Wishes, hopes, and prayers.

Yearning for something lost, something forgotten, something that wasn't ever really there, but feels like it was.
