Behind the scenes time lapse drawing

From time to time, as we can, we like to show the work that AMANDA CONNER puts into her artwork and the love she gives to these drawings.  Thankfully, we can do this in a little time lapsed fashion so you don’t have to see her agonize about the perfect line, the proper proportions and how the five strands of hair on her head have to perfectly capture the light element in the coloring.  😊

Here is the page from the last chapter where we first get to see Kay after her little nuclear outburst.I wasn’t too happy with the pose I gave her, so I had to keep redrawing it. It still wasn’t working for me, and then I remembered that I really liked the pose from her first appearance in the first chapter. So I imported that, and used it as a springboard for this pose.Hey, I ain’t painting the Sistine Chapel ceiling here, I’m drawin’ a sassy nuclear girl with burnt ends.
