Dear Reader:

There's some exciting news (for your pocketbook) about our future at Zestworld! But before we get into that, we're pleased to report that new LADY KILLER LTD. scenes are currently rolling out in short order. In addition to the lovingly rendered axe murders and funerals you've come to expect from the Lady Killer brand, readers can now enjoy the first two installments of a sensational 1930s mother/daughter murder trial!

In fact, on a recent studio visit, we found Ms. Jones neck-deep in research on the wildest criminal trials of the Great Depression. "The combination of fabulous clothes and bad taste -- there's just nothing like it today," she told us as she filled our Nick & Nora glass. "Did you know they sold tiny souvenir ladders to commemorate the Lindbergh Baby kidnapping?" 

She gestured toward her drawing desk. "There was also a newspaper comic strip on the Lindbergh case,drawn by Alley Oop artist V. T. Hamlin. On some level, I'm just carrying forward a tradition."

We've decided to shake things up a bit around here. The highlights:

1. LADY KILLER LTD. is now free to read. For everyone.

Starting immediately, LADY KILLER LTD. is available free of charge to any and all Joëlle Jones Zestworld subscribers. 

And speaking of subscriptions....

2. We've ended all paid subscription levels. For "Mother Schuller" yearly subscribers, see below.

The finer print:

  • As mentioned above: Going forward, all subscribers at all tiers can enjoy Joëlle's Zestworld comics free of charge. There will be no new charges for any subscriber.
  • We will be contacting our "Mother Schuller" yearly subscribers about refunds soon.
  • However, "Josie" level subscribers are still getting what they paid for! You (or a loved one) will still enjoy the unique experience of Ms. Jones drawing your grim demise in an upcoming LADY KILLER LTD. scene. (A note to Josie-level subscribers: If you haven't sent images of whom you want killed [in pen and ink], please correct this oversight at your earliest convenience by sending an email to [email protected].)
